Understand and apply every concept related to Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is about making the best choice from many possible options.
Think about taxes.
You want to:
- pay as little tax as possible
- get as much money back as possible
To do that, you have options, for example:
- get married
- deduct work expenses (books, laptop, office supplies)
- take a loan and deduct interest
- ....
There are many possible choices. Finding the best combination of choices is an optimization problem. That is what AI does.
How AI Makes Decisions
AI does not guess. It uses math to calculate which option is most likely to give the best result.
It is like a Mike Ross in Suits that plays poker and calculates the probability of each card and then chooses the best possible move. The better the math, the closer the solution is to the optimum.

What AI Can Be
AI can be:
- your tax advisor
- your game partner
- your decision helper in complex situations
AI works best when the goal is clear. The better the goal is defined, the better the AI can choose the right option.
But before that we need to prepare the data we have. Learn more here.
